FujiFilm X Series Metadata

Extract camera settings and shooting metadata from FujiFilm image files

FujiFilm X Series Camera Metadata

Last updated: 2022_07_21

This application extracts and displays metadata from FujiFilm X series cameras. There are options for choosing a single image file, multiple image files or to show image/shutter count only from a single file.

JPG, RAF and HIF files are supported. All current X series cameras have been tested (up to and including the FujiFilm X-H2S). Files from GFX cameras appear to work but have not been fully tested.

JPG files from other cameras will show a very limited amount of metadata togther with the image but this application is only intended for files created by FujiFilm cameras.

Its best to use files straight from the camera - many popular image editing programs (such as Lightroom) will delete all of the FujiFilm specific metatadata - files exported from these programs will only show the remaining very limited metadata.

The metadata extract runs in the browser locally on your computer. Most web based metadata viewers send your image files to a remote server for processing - that doesn't happen with this application.

Your image file(s) do not leave your computer (although logging data are captured for usage monitoring).
